By using this site you are acknowledging that you have read and agree with the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may be changed or added to at any time.
The prices shown on my website are in GBP (Sterling) unless otherwise stated. I reserve the right to change the prices at any time without prior notice to you. Non European Community (EU) residents will be liable for any import duties and taxes in the usual way.
All orders placed with me are subject to acceptance and availability of goods. Judith Peterhoff Jewellery reserves the right to refuse any order.
Currently this is not an online shop. When an email is placed via an email enquiry form, I will send out an invoice. Payments can be made via PayPal or BACS. Commissions work will require a 50% non-refundable deposit with the full balance payable prior to shipping.
Most of my items are held in stock but some of the jewellery is made to order, especially rings, gold vermeil and bespoke pieces. If an item is in stock it will be dispatched as soon as possible, usually within 5 days of receipt of payment. Items that need to be made to order will be delivered within 2-3 weeks. Commissions like engagement rings can take between 4 – 8 weeks from point of order to delivery depending on the piece.
Any time or date for delivery is an estimate only. If you have a special occassion coming up and require an item urgently please contact me immediately and I will try my best to accommodate your requirements.
Late and lost deliveries
If you haven’t received your delivery after the advised delivery date, then please get in touch with me and I will provide you with the tracking number to enable you to chase it up with Royal Mail. I, Judith Peterhoff Jewellery, cannot be held responsible for goods that are lost or delayed in transit.
Orders for stock items can be cancelled any time before dispatch but you must inform me in writing by email as soon as possible. Please note that orders for goods which have been specially commissioned, customised or personalised to order cannot be cancelled.
If for some reason you would like to return your purchase, please return it unworn and in the original packaging within 14 days. Please get in touch with me before doing so to see if I can help in any way and I know to expect it. Refunds will be made using the same method as the original payment within 30 days. Refund for postage is not guaranteed and you will have to pay for the return postage.
Faulty or incorrect goods
If your goods arrive faulty, damaged or are not what you ordered, please inform me within 7 days of delivery. I will help you resolve any issues as quickly as possible. Wilful, malicious damage or negligence will void any rights you have to take advantage of the refund or exchange policies.
Goods which are thought to be faulty after this time will be treated case by case. Please contact me to discuss the problem.
For care instructions for your precious jewellery, please go here. Please be aware that gold vermeil or gold plated items will show signs of wear with time. This is to be expected. If you get in touch within 3 months of purchase there is a free replating service included, if the purchase is longer than 3 months ago a small fee will be charged.
Description of goods
I have made evey effort to ensure that all images are a true representation of the finished product but due to the handmade nature of my jewellery, slight variations might occur between pieces. Due to the nature of the raw materials, gemstones used may vary slighlty in colour. Depending on the monitor and browser you are using the colours and images might vary. Images might not be actual size, please refer to the individual product dimensions provided for the actual size of each piece.
I, Judith Peterhoff trading as Judith Peterhoff Jewellery, am a bespoke jewellery designer focusing on small handmade collections and bespoke one off pieces. I always work closely with my customers to create their dream commissions. I take big pride in excellent customer care and building up a trusting relationship with my clients. I always treat my customers how I would like to be treated and for this reason I will treat your personal data with complete confidentiality. But what exactly is your personal data, you ask? It’s any information that can identify an individual, even just your name. Your address, phone number or e-mail address also count as personal data.

Buying from me
If you place an order from me in person at a craft show, through direct sale at my studio, online or at a jewellery event I will need to collect your contact details to fulfill your order.
Due to the bespoke nature of my pieces the website is currently not an online shop. The website is currently not an online shop because all my pieces are made to order. If you wish to place an order please contact me directly via e-mail.
Your personal data is securely stored in a password-protected document on my systems for a maximum of 5 years. At any time you are entitled to ask me for details of any personal information that I hold on you, or to ask that your details are deleted. Please contact me for this.
I may make changes to this policy from time to time. If I do so, I will post the changes on this page. This policy was last changed on 2nd November 2018.
